Award of $2,000 for two (2) graduate students ($2,000 each) conducting research on the psychology of religion and spirituality.
Award of $1,000 for undergraduate research on the psychology of religion and spirituality.
Award of $3,000 for research centered on promoting the psychology of religion and spirituality related to underrepresented and marginalized groups. Open to students and faculty.
Award of $5,000 to support and stimulate Early Career Faculty and postdocs (i.e., less than 10 years post terminal degree, e.g., PhD) to conduct research on the psychology of religion and spirituality.
Award of $5,000 to support and stimulate Mid-Career Faculty (i.e., 10 or more years as a faculty member) to conduct research on the psychology of religion and spirituality.
Research awards are administered each spring. All applicants must be members of Division 36. It is hoped that recipients of awards will present their work in Division 36 programming at a future conference, such as at the annual APA conference or the Division 36 Midyear Conference. Funds will not include conference travel costs. There will, however, be a few travel stipends available to select student awardees.

This award will be presented annually to recognize an outstanding investigator in research or implementation of psychology of religion/spirituality in applied areas (e.g., clinical or counseling psychology, industrial/organizational psychology, educational psychology).
This award is offered to individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to Division 36 through service and leadership.
This award is offered to an individual whose innovative research in the psychology of religion is marked by scholarly excellence and has implications for theory, practice, or further research.
This award is offered to individuals who have contributed to the psychology of religion by mentoring individuals who themselves have become active in the field.
This award honors an outstanding contribution through publication and professional activity to the dissemination of findings on religious and allied issues or who has made a notable contribution to the integration of these findings with those of other disciplines, notably philosophy, sociology, and anthropology.
